I led a team of Desktop Publishers who format and publish text books, lesson plans, testing material, and other types of educational resources. My favorite thing about my position was empowering my team with InDesign tips, savvy formatting tricks, and other skills that will last them a lifetime. I am always exploring and sharing ideas on how to make publications more conducive for learning from the perspective of the student.
We primarily used InDesign for book formatting, but would adjust illustrations in Illustrator and Photoshop.
